Foundation’s Charter Oak features tobaccos grown in the Connecticut River Valley of founder Nick Melillo’s home state. The name itself pays respect to a historically significant tree near which Native Americans would congregate and grow tobacco of their own. This cigar boasts a 93 rating and features notes of rich woods, complex herbs, oaky vanilla, floral notes and cashew nuttiness.

Named for the civilization that once predated the Mayans and Aztecs, this full-bodied blend celebrates the San Andrés leaf native to the lands of the former Olmec tribes in Southern Mexico. Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí and Jalapa that have been aged for 3 years before being used in production. The Olmec Claro offers a variety of tasting notes like cacao, espresso, and spice that remain balanced. Olmec earned Cigar Aficionado’s #20 Cigar of the Year in 2023.

HVC Hot Cake Maduro

The Hot Cake features a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 binder grown in Jalapa and Nicaraguan fillers including a leaf of Corojo 2006 Maduro. It’s a rich cigar with notes of dark chocolate, espresso and spice that starts off north of medium before crossing over to full bodied. This cigar is aptly named because it will sell like Hot Cakes.
